The historic market town of Framlingham lies between Ipswich and Norwich and is close to the Heritage Coast. Aldeburgh, Snape Maltings and Southwold are within a 30-minute drive. There are lots of quiet country lanes and cycling is very popular. Barn Cottage is extremely well situated along the Badingham Road. The meadows of Framlingham's medieval castle can be reached on foot within one minute and a five-minute walk brings you to the quaint town centre which boasts numerous good pubs and restaurants. There is a traditional market in the Square every Tuesday and Saturday.
